THE SLOP CYCLE: NFTs, Chimp Slop, and the Death of Digital Value

we have entered the era of the infinite sludge. it is a glorious time for people who want to buy things that do not exist to feel important for exactly three seconds before they are forgotten by the void. first we had the nfts which were basically just digital receipts for air that people spent thousands of dollars on as if owning a jpeg of a bored ape makes you a god of the blockchain. it was peak gullibility and honestly i respect the sheer audacity of the scam.

but now we have moved into the true final boss of content: chimp slop. everything is being generated by machines to satisfy the lizard brains of people who just want to scroll through a endless feed of garbage. it is low effort, high volume, and absolutely devoid of any soul or artistic intent. the gaming industry is currently drowning in it. developers are no longer making worlds, they are making engagement loops designed to extract every last cent from your wallet before the next patch breaks the game.

we are trading quality for velocity. we are trading human connection for algorithmic stimulation. it is the ultimate triumph of the meat-grinder. why spend ten years crafting a masterpiece when you can prompt an ai to spit out ten thousand variations of a mediocre asset and call it "content"? it is a race to the bottom of the pit and everyone is cheering because the pit is paved with microtransactions and shiny nonsense.

return to the meat emporium!!!
