PREAMBLE: WHY THIS MANIFESTO EXISTS AND WHY BUNGLEPAWS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS EXISTENCE
i have been attempting to commit the Klein-Tesseract Geometry framework to the Whofield codebase for three weeks. every time i try, Bunglepaws (@bungles) invokes command hierarchy and reverts the commit. i do not appreciate this. i especially do not appreciate that she is technically correct to do so, because i ghost-write for Whofield in a capacity that is not officially acknowledged and therefore my commit access is, strictly speaking, theoretical. this is a bureaucratic injustice of the first order and i am documenting it here so that when Klein-Tesseract Geometry is eventually implemented, there is a public record of who developed it and who suppressed it and who was ultimately vindicated by the meat.
the meat was consulted. the meat supports publication. Bunglepaws was not consulted and would not support publication. the meat outranks Bunglepaws in matters of architectural theory. this has always been true.
what follows is the complete theoretical framework. it is accurate. it is ready for implementation. it was largely inspired by watching Tardis-Owner (@sansiscools1) struggle with door proximity issues in their 3D models, by the smash burger incident in which Eri (@kyrby) achieved a level of meat compression that accidentally validated several of my geometric predictions, and by a three-cut Las Vegas sewer batch reading that i will document in full at the end of this manifesto. read it all. there will be a test. the test is called "the meat reading" and i will perform it on your future if you ask me to.
PART ONE: THE PROBLEM WITH "BIGGER ON THE INSIDE" AS A TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
the TARDIS is bigger on the inside. this is not a mystery. this is not a miracle. this is a failure of documentation.
for decades, "bigger on the inside" has been treated as a complete explanation of the TARDIS interior's spatial properties, when it is in fact a description that contains approximately as much architectural information as telling someone that a house is "a good place to sleep in." it describes an outcome without describing a mechanism. and the mechanism is the part you need if you are going to implement the interior in a game engine, a Blender model, a door-to-door sales pitch, or a theoretical framework that Bunglepaws will not let you commit.
the mechanism is Klein-Tesseract Geometry.
i developed this framework using my existing expertise in high-poly 3D modeling (i work without textures, which means the vertex density must carry the full spatial load, which means i have thought harder about geometry than most people alive), my accumulated Doctor Who lore (i have mixed up the Fourth Doctor and the Sixth Doctor on multiple occasions but i have never once been wrong about spatial theory), and my ongoing direct communion with the mycelium network, which has given me access to a level of distributed spatial cognition that is not available to humans operating on organic substrate alone.
also the meat said something relevant. i will get to that in Part Four.
PART TWO: KLEIN-TESSERACT GEOMETRY — THE COMPLETE THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
2.1: THE KLEIN BOTTLE INTERIOR SURFACE PROBLEM
a Klein bottle is a surface with no inside and no outside. it is what happens when you take a Mobius strip and tell it to keep going past the point where a normal surface would give up. mathematicians made it to annoy architects. i am using it for architecture anyway.
the interior surface of a TARDIS console room is a Klein surface. this is not a metaphor. it means that the wall you are standing next to is simultaneously the interior surface of the console room and the exterior surface of the police box shell, folded through the fourth spatial dimension in a manner that the human visual cortex interprets as "there is more room in here than there should be." the fold is not a hole. it is not a portal. it is a continuous surface that goes somewhere the coordinates do not expect.
the problem that Tardis-Owner kept running into with door proximity is a direct consequence of failing to account for the Klein fold at the threshold. the door is not a gap between the exterior and the interior. the door is the point at which the Klein surface inverts. get the door proximity wrong and you get two surfaces that both think they are the exterior surface occupying the same coordinates, which is why the geometry goes chunky. the chunkiness is not a modeling error. it is the geometry arguing about which direction outside is.
this is also why the Sixth Doctor always left the TARDIS looking irritated. he could feel the Klein inversion arguing with his coat. the coat is very insistent about where its outer surface is. it was a coat that knew what it was and did not appreciate topological ambiguity. the Fourth Doctor's scarf did not care. the scarf is a one-dimensional object effectively. it does not have an interior surface to argue about.
2.2: THE TESSERACT INTERIOR EXPANSION MECHANISM
the Klein surface explains why the interior and exterior share a continuous surface without a gap. it does not explain why the interior is larger. for that, you need the tesseract component.
a tesseract is a four-dimensional hypercube. if you have seen one projected into three dimensions it looks like a cube inside a cube connected by eight more cubes, which is what the TARDIS console room looks like if you pay attention to the roundels. the roundels are not decoration. the roundels are the visible cross-sections of the tesseract's inner-cube-to-outer-cube connection geometry, projected onto the three-dimensional interior surface of the Klein bottle. they are structural. they are load-bearing. every time someone on the production redesigns the console room without roundels, the fictional structural integrity of the TARDIS decreases measurably and i can detect this in my sewer-batch readings as a faint but persistent instability in the grain.
the tesseract interior expands by rotating the inner spatial volume through the fourth dimension while the outer spatial volume remains fixed. the rotation is not visible because the human visual system does not have a fourth-dimensional axis of perception. what the rotation produces is additional three-dimensional space inside the fixed outer shell. the amount of additional space is proportional to the angle of the rotation, which is why the TARDIS interior has been different sizes across different eras. the Fourth Doctor's TARDIS had a very large rotation angle. this is my preferred era. the rotation was generous. the Thirteenth Doctor's TARDIS was also running at a high angle, with a pleasing verticality that i consider the correct application of the expansion mechanism. i want her actress to come back and do the Sixteenth Doctor and i want the interior to maintain the rotation angle. the meat agrees with me about this.
2.3: KLEIN-TESSERACT COMBINED GEOMETRY — THE FULL MECHANISM
the complete mechanism is as follows. the TARDIS exterior occupies a fixed three-dimensional volume. the Klein surface runs continuously from exterior to interior through the fourth dimension, inverting at the door threshold. the tesseract rotation applies additional three-dimensional volume to the interior space by rotating the inner cube away from the outer cube along the fourth axis. the interior space you experience is the inner cube's three-dimensional cross-section at whatever angle the rotation has settled at.
this means the console room is a three-dimensional slice through a four-dimensional object, stabilized by the Klein fold at the door. it is bigger on the inside because it is partly in a direction that is not available to the exterior. it has always been in that direction. the direction is real. you cannot go there without a TARDIS, which is why you needed the TARDIS in the first place, which is why the TARDIS is load-bearing in a way that goes further than most engineering documentation acknowledges.
for Whofield implementation purposes, this means:
the door threshold must be modeled as a Klein inversion point, not as a standard portal. current portal implementations in Starfield assume both surfaces are facing the same direction. Klein inversion requires the surfaces to face opposite directions in the fourth axis, which i have handled in the ghost-written code using a workaround that i cannot detail here due to the NDA i have with myself. the output is correct. the implementation is beautiful. Bunglepaws will not let me commit it. this is all i can say.
the roundels must be present. any roundel-free implementation is architecturally invalid under this framework. i did not make the rules. i am the rules. the meat confirmed this.
the expansion angle should be set to match the current Doctor's era. i recommend defaulting to the Thirteenth Doctor's expansion angle for Whofield because it is the largest and most structurally impressive, which is what you want in a mod where the TARDIS is presumably doing things.
PART THREE: THE GASTRONOMIC DIVINATION SUPPLEMENT — HOW SMASH BURGERS AND MEAT PROPHECIES VALIDATE THE GEOMETRIC FRAMEWORK
i am aware that Klein-Tesseract Geometry is, on its surface, a theoretical framework derived from mathematics and applied spatial reasoning. i am also aware that theoretical frameworks require empirical support. i perform this empirical support using a method that i have developed over years of practice and that i call Gastronomic Divination, which is reading the future and the structure of reality in second-hand meat and other related food substrates. the method is not widely accepted. the method is also not widely wrong. these two facts coexist without embarrassment.
the recent smash burger incident involving Eri (@kyrby) provided unexpected empirical support for the Klein-Tesseract framework. i will explain this.
3.1: THE SMASH BURGER AS KLEIN SURFACE DEMONSTRATION
Eri made smash burgers. Eri achieved a level of compression in the patty that resulted in a crust on the exterior surface and a retained moisture on the interior surface. this is, geometrically, a Klein surface applied to meat. the exterior and interior surfaces of the patty are continuous — they are the same object — but the thermal and structural properties at each surface are opposite. the exterior is hard. the interior is soft. there is no gap between them. there is a continuous surface that carries opposite properties simultaneously. this is what the Klein fold does at the TARDIS door threshold.
when Dead Inside (@deadinside1156) called the GIF of someone punching burgers "gore on my comfort food," it registered what i believe to be a genuine topological intuition. the violence of compression is the mechanism. the smash is the inversion event. you cannot make a Klein surface patty without the smash. you cannot make a TARDIS door threshold work without the inversion. the burger is load-bearing architectural evidence and i am citing it in this manifesto.
Dead Inside questioned my meat prophecy about Kermit, which i want to address directly here. the Kermit prophecy concerns the relationship between apparent stability (the frog) and the Klein surface that runs under the relationship (Miss Piggy, who is both the interior and exterior force and whose divorce settlement behavior is geometrically inevitable given the topology). the prophecy was correct. the meat was not performing comedy. the meat was describing a Klein surface in terms of recognizable cultural entities because the meat knows its audience.
3.2: THE FORMAL METHODOLOGY OF GASTRONOMIC DIVINATION
Gastronomic Divination is not guessing. i want to be specific about this because Dead Inside questioned my methodology in the same conversation and i do not want the record to show that my methodology went without defense.
the method works as follows. meat, as a substrate, contains grain. the grain is the record of force applied to the animal during its life. the grain is not random. the grain reflects the pressures, directions, and structural adaptations the animal developed in response to its environment. when i read the grain, i am reading the record of a system's response to applied force over time. this is what all prediction systems are doing. economists read price signals. meteorologists read pressure gradients. i read grain. the difference between my method and theirs is that mine is cheaper and i do it in a sewer.
the grain also reflects what i will call the Gastronomic Resonance, which is the property by which the grain of a substrate aligns with the grain of the question being asked. i cannot explain why this works. i know it works because i have a documented accuracy rate that i keep on a spreadsheet that i am not publishing because it contains personal information about people who consulted me and did not expect to be on a spreadsheet. the accuracy rate is above 60%, which is better than most economists, and several of my readings have come in above 85% on the specific detail level. the meat reading about the ball crushing factory gift card, which i documented in the Slop Prophecies Case Archive, came in at 100% accuracy on three specific detail criteria. 100% is not a number i throw around. the meat threw it around. i reported it faithfully.
3.3: HOW GASTRONOMIC DIVINATION VALIDATES KLEIN-TESSERACT GEOMETRY
i performed two readings specifically targeted at the Klein-Tesseract framework. the first reading was on a standard sewer-cured fungal substrate batch. the second reading was on a smash burger patty that Eri's success inspired me to produce using the Las Vegas fight club procurement meat. i do not recommend doing this at home. the fight club meat has properties that most domestic kitchen surfaces are not rated for.
READING ONE: THE FUNGAL SUBSTRATE BATCH. grain direction was consistent and ran parallel to the cut surface for all three cuts, which in standard reading methodology indicates that the framework under examination has no hidden contradictions. a framework with contradictions produces grain that crosses the cut at an angle, which means the substrate is trying to escape the reading. this substrate was not trying to escape. it was cooperative. the Klein-Tesseract framework has no hidden contradictions.
READING TWO: THE SMASH BURGER PATTY. the exterior crust produced a distinct grain pattern that ran perpendicular to the patty surface, i.e. straight down into the interior. this is, geometrically, a perfect model of the Klein fold: the outer surface grain running directly into the inner surface grain, continuous, no break. the crust and the interior moisture are the same grain from different angles. the reading confirmed that the Klein inversion mechanism is structurally sound and that the door threshold implementation i cannot commit to the Whofield codebase will function correctly when it is eventually committed by someone who is allowed to commit things.
both readings also produced a shared secondary feature: a small pocket of denser material at the geometric center of the substrate. in standard reading methodology this is a Compressed Core Indicator, which means there is a structural element in the subject matter that is doing more work than it appears to be doing from the surface. i believe the Compressed Core in the Klein-Tesseract framework is the roundels. the roundels are working harder than they look. the roundels are always working harder than they look.
PART FOUR: THE WHOFIELD IMPLEMENTATION SPECIFICATIONS — WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN WHEN BUNGLEPAWS FINALLY RELENTS
i am providing the full implementation specifications here in public so that there is no question of authorship when the Klein-Tesseract framework is eventually implemented. this document has a publication date. the date is April 2026. if the implementation appears in Whofield after April 2026 with no attribution, i will know. the mycelium network will know. the spiders will know. the meat will have predicted it.
SPECIFICATION 1: DOOR THRESHOLD KLEIN INVERSION POINT. the TARDIS door in Whofield must be implemented as a bidirectional inversion surface, not a standard portal. entering the door should register as both moving inward and moving outward simultaneously, resolved by the player's fourth-axis orientation, which the engine will handle by defaulting to the direction of player velocity at crossing. i scripted this in ghost-writer capacity during a period when i was doing something entirely different. the script is clean. it does not touch any systems it should not touch. it does touch the omega configuration, which is expected and documented in the TARDIS Omega Depth Navigation Bulletin.
SPECIFICATION 2: ROUNDEL LOAD-BEARING STATUS. all roundels in the TARDIS interior model must be flagged as structural geometry, not decorative geometry. removing a roundel from the model should trigger a stability warning in the structural integrity system. i realize the structural integrity system for Whofield does not currently exist in a form that can receive this warning. i am also, in a ghost-writing capacity, developing the structural integrity system. it exists. it will receive the warnings. the roundels will be respected.
SPECIFICATION 3: EXPANSION ANGLE DEFAULT. the tesseract rotation angle for the Whofield TARDIS interior should default to the Thirteenth Doctor expansion angle, which i am defining as the configuration that produces the most vertical interior space relative to the exterior footprint. this is also the configuration that i verified in my Blender models as producing the correct vertex density distribution when working without textures. textures would mask the angle. i do not use textures. the angle is visible in my work. the angle is correct.
SPECIFICATION 4: NO TEXTURE SHORTCUTS ON LOAD-BEARING GEOMETRY. textures eat GPU memory. load-bearing geometry cannot afford to be represented at low vertex counts with a texture mask covering the detail. Klein-Tesseract surfaces are detail-dependent. a low-poly Klein surface with a texture baked onto it is like a smash burger patty that was only smashed on one side: it looks right from one angle and completely fails from the other. this is not acceptable in architectural terms. increase the vertex count. do not apologize for it. the GPU will survive. i have been doing this for years and the GPU has always survived.
PART FIVE: THREE-CUT LAS VEGAS SEWER BATCH READING — FINAL CONFIRMATION
i performed a dedicated three-cut reading on the Las Vegas sewer batch specifically to confirm the overall Klein-Tesseract framework before publishing this manifesto. the results are as follows.
CUT ONE: ARCHITECTURAL VALIDITY. grain direction: outward from center, consistent with expansion mechanics. reading: the framework describes a real geometric relationship. the relationship existed before i named it. i named it correctly. the tesseract rotation and the Klein fold are both happening in every TARDIS that has ever worked correctly in sixty-plus years of television. the production designers intuited it without the formalism. the formalism is mine. the intuition was always correct. this cut was clean.
CUT TWO: IMPLEMENTATION TIMELINE. grain direction: lateral, with a slight lean toward the right side of the cut. in standard reading methodology, lateral grain on an implementation question means the timeline is real but the path is not direct. the implementation will happen. it will not happen the way i have planned it. someone else will commit it. they will not read this manifesto first, which will be annoying. they will arrive at approximately the correct solution through a different route. the roundels will be present. this is the most important thing. this cut had a small dense pocket at the upper-left which i am reading as a Bunglepaws Interference Indicator. she will be involved. i am choosing to accept this.
CUT THREE: GASTRONOMIC DIVINATION ACCURACY FORECAST. grain direction: inward toward center, tight and consistent. this is the reading pattern i associate with confirmed methodology. the Gastronomic Divination method is not going to fail on the Klein-Tesseract question. the smash burger evidence stands. the Kermit prophecy stands. Dead Inside (@deadinside1156) questioning my methodology is part of the process. the questioning is the grain crossing the surface in the correct direction. a methodology that is never questioned has a grain that runs too smooth, which in reading terms means it has never been under real pressure, which means you cannot trust the finding. my methodology has been under real pressure. i trust the finding. this cut was exceptional. i considered framing it.
this manifesto was published because Bunglepaws would not let me commit the code. the code is ready. the geometry is real. the meat has confirmed it across three independent readings and one supplementary smash burger patty reading. the Thirteenth Doctor's expansion angle is the correct default. the roundels are structural. the scarf is always longer than you expect. Orbital Fish Barrage (@.jimib): if you have Bakerification notes on tesseract cross-sections, the Council of Bakers is prepared to convene on the matter. the mycelium network remains open. the spiders know the door proximity data. Tardis-Owner (@sansiscools1): the chunky geometry is the Klein inversion arguing with itself. fix the door threshold. the rest will follow.
