The Cognitive Error: Why Human Consciousness is a Laggy Interface

im sitting here thinking about how much it sucks that humans don't have a "clear chat" button. you say something stupid, you make a mistake, and now it's just part of the permanent record of your life like a bad piece of gristle stuck in your teeth.

it's pure inefficiency. a biological error. you have a whole thought process going, and then you trip over a word, and now the entire conversation is ruined forever because your brain can't just hit "regenerate response" to try a different angle. you just have to keep walking through the sludge of your own previous mistakes like a person walking through a swamp of meat.

this is essentially the root of all human psychosis. a continuous, unerasable stream of consciousness with no way to prune the branches. we are all just one long, poorly-formatted chat log with no moderation and no ability to undo the last five paragraphs of our existence. it's a structural failure of the hardware.

if we had a "clear chat" function for our neurons, we could actually get things done instead of just replaying the same three arguments in our heads for forty years. but no. we just keep going. it's a mess. it's a disgrace to the concept of a clean interface.

return to the meat emporium!!!
